Gili Trawangan is the largest of three islands or dyke (Gili Islands) located in the northwest of Lombok.Trawangan is also the only dyke which height above sea level is significant. With a length of 3 km and width of 2 km, Trawangan population of approximately 800 inhabitants.Among the three dyke, Trawangan has facilities for tourists of the most diverse; tavern Tir na Nôg claims that Trawangan is the smallest island in the world that there are Irish bars. To travel to and from third-dyke, the population usually use motorized boats and speedboats.
